Thief : Steal

Thief

Thief has the ability to steal an item from an enemy that he can use as a bundle. The stolen skill will depend on the enemy type. The thief's weapon skills have no recharge time; instead they use initiative. Thieves also have their own special weapon skill types - Dual Wield skills and Stealth Attacks.

  Skill Description
Steal   30 Shadowstep to your foe and steal from them.
Stolen Skills
Ice Shard Stab     Stolen Skill. Stab and chill your foe.
Whirling Axe   Stolen Skill. Spin and attack nearby foes. You can move while spinning.

Daredevil top

Daredevil uses Swipe to steal an item from an enemy; this skill has less range then usual Steal. Daredevil has increased endurance, and his dodging can have a different effect depending on the active grandmaster trait.

  Skill Description
Swipe   25 Shadowstep to your foe and steal from them.
Dodge Replacement Skills
Impaling Lotus     Evade attacks and hurl damaging daggers, dealing multiple conditions to enemies.
Bound ¾   Leap into an area, and deliver a massive blow to enemies.
Dash ¾   Remove conditions and gain swiftness, then rush forward and evade attacks.

Deadeye top

Deadeye has no Steal - it's replaced with Deadeye's Mark, which unlocks new Stolen skills and malice generation. Stealth attacks consume malice for bonus effects.

  Skill Description
Deadeye's Mark ½ 25 Mark a target, causing your initiative attacks to generate malice when they hit or critically hit your mark. Lose all malice when the mark ends or when this skill is recast on a new target. Malice is only gained once per skill use.

Greetings, visitors!

Since 2012 we are providing the Guild Wars 2 community with our website and our build editor, and we hope that you are satisfied with the quality of our resource. Unfortunately "there ain't no such thing as a free lunch" – it takes a lot of time and work to keep everything up-to-date and there are of course monthly fees for the dedicated server hosting.

As you may have noticed, we have no advertising on our site. Your donations are a substantial source of funding and allow us to keep the website alive and free of ads. We want to thank everyone who has supported us during these years and we hope that you continue to support us in future.

Every donation counts, no matter how small it is. Thank you!
